When you access our website, your browser sets up a direct connection with the servers of Facebook. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the range of data that Facebook collects with this plugin and thus inform users according to our state of knowledge.
To our knowledge, Facebook collects the information that you have accessed our website. Data about the web pages visited, the date, time and other browser-related data (e.g. IP address, browser type, operating system) may also be collected and stored. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook also receives additional information and stores further cookies. Facebook can assign the visit to the user's Facebook account. If a user is a Facebook member and does not wish Facebook to collect data about them through our site and link it to their profile data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook.
According to Facebook's own information, the data is anonymised after 90 days so that it cannot be further associated with you, or deleted.
It is possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example by using the "Facebook Blocker". This tool must be installed and activated in your respective browser.
