The Saxon University of Cooperative Education continuously strives to make www.ba-sachsen.de accissible, both editorial as well as technically. Legal foundation are the applicable laws BfWebG (German Fedral Accessible Websites Law) and SächsInklusG (Saxon State Inclusion Law). In addition, we apply the recommendations proposed in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as well as any standards decreed in Section 3 of the Second German Federal Provision on Accessible IT (BITV 2.0).
An independent BITV audit is scheduled for August 2020.
Currently inaccessible content includes, but is not limited to:
- labels of form fields
(not all form fields (e.g. search) have label, but they do have placeholders)
- disengageable moving content
(the slider in the header is neither disengageable nor supressible)
- skipable content
(content areas are made accessible through headings, anchors, or WAI ARIA document landmarks; frames and iframes have no title)
